Hey, I’m Christina 👋🏻

I’m a UX design & research leader with 12 years of experience across brand, service, innovation and product. I have led UX work on interdisciplinary teams, driving innovation and providing product excellence with mixed methods research.

I’m also a professor with 7 years of mentorship experience. I have mentored over 200 students, and a dozen junior UX designers.

I seek to make things better-er for people through design.

Design & Research Philosophy

Always be curious

My favorite question is ‘why?’. To me, it’s what allows us as UX folks to get to know someone better and truly understand what they value, what problems they have, and imagine what could be.

It’s that love for uncovering the ‘why’ that has guided me in life to design products that challenge convention and truly positively impact people.

Creativity is key

I believe that good UX is created with a combination of curiosity, radical candor, collaboration, empathy, inclusion & ethics, and the ability to creatively use your UX tools.

Lead with joy & laughter

When leading a team I seek to create a safe space where folks can boldly learn from both their successes and failures. I strongly believe that we do our best work when filled with joy and laughter!

Empathy, empathy and empathy

I lead with heart and always make sure to meet people where they are at. I’m folks biggest cheerleader and advocate, and simply want to uplift those around me to achieve greatness. I bring my years of experience from teaching and UX into my leadership style.
